For this particular wedding cake, our customer had requested us to frost the cake with freshcream. Unfortunately, since we had to deliver this a day before and the cake being red and black, we were sure the colours will not last as they were at the time of delivery. It's just the nature of red and black and freshcream. It would be ok if it was white or pastel colours. So we iced the cake with buttercream instead.
