Barbie Cake

A barbie cake we did earlier this month for a dear friend.  Doll was provided by our customer. We are glad the cake was well loved.

Design and colours as per the request.  The cake was chocolate moist :)

Barbie Cake

A Princess cake with white gown for the birthday twins which we did last month. For cake like this, we can either provide the doll at a minimum cost or you may opt to provide it for us a week before the required date.

Princess Belle

This 3D cake was theme, Princess Belle of the Beauty and The Beast.  Both the gown and the base cake were Chocolate moist cake.  The base was 16" by 14" in size, quite big and we iced it wil freshcream with shades of pink and lilac. The pink roses at the corner complement the cake :)

The gown was in yellow, of course.  The challenge was to shop for the doll with dark brown hair and I was lucky to find one :)



Barbie and Ken

These were done earlier this month.  Right, I couldn't find a handsome looking Ken doll so resorted to using a High School Musical Character (don't know the name) and trimmed his hair, kes geram la ne..

The gown and suit were made of our homemade gumpaste and decorated with little flowers and royal icing.  Loving this design, although simple yet looking very elegant.

Barbie Cake

It's always fun to try out new design everytime we do a project of a Barbie Cake.  Here's one with a 10" chocolate moist cake as the base.  We've design this "Barbie in the garden" cake all in pink as requested.

Barbie Cakes

To be frank I wasn't sure how these were going to turnout; the theme was Barbie and the 3 Musketeers.  We had done the musketeers in the form of baby barbies instead but keeping the hats.  And of course the cat was a special request from the birthday princess.

All the cakes were red velvet, except the cat and the hats are in fondant.  We had aslo provided fondant flower cum candle holder :)  Thanks to dear Mummy for the order and we hoped the princess had a smashing birthday treat..

Barbie Cakes

This barbie cake was rather unique as the request was for it to have wings.  The dress was made of buttercream and the wings were made of our homemade fondant.  The mom added the butterfly wings hehehe...

For Barbie cakes, we do request that you provide the barbie doll for us as we no longer provide it . However is you still wish us to, then there shall be additional charges for the price of the Barbie doll.

Other than the usual 3D and fancy birthday cakes, we also received orders to do Barbie cakes. The Barbie may be design with any fancy gown designs and colours of your choice.

You may also choose to have any flavour of your choice.

Barbie Doll Cake

We did a couple of barbie cakes in April and we would post these together...

This was done for Natasya on her recent birthday.. It was a pleasant surprise for her from dear mum.

This one below was ordered by a bunch of frens for a dear fren. Again as a surprise gift

Both cakes did wonders!!

BARBIE DOLL CAKE

My little angel just turned 4 recently. She insisted that I make her a Barbie Doll Cake. She is a very huge fan of Barbie and the likes, so from her collection of books, she had picked one Barbie design for me to follow.

It was very funny, she was by my side all the time when I was icing the cake, making sure I got all the details right where she wanted them.."ripul-ripul" here, "ripul-ripul" there, flower here.. flower there... So I end up calling her Barbie Boss... *LOL* to my surprise she replied " andang lah... kek baby kali ah!"..*sigh* kids nowadays!!

She also kept telling me how much she really loves me (sweet!!) so she could bring the cake to celebrate with her classmates at school, she didn't want to share it with us at home! *LOL* reason.. we just have to eat the bare cake.... This is a 4yr old telling me what to do here..
