The idea for this cupcake and cake set was that of m&m scheme..
The cake and cupcakes were red velvet frosted with fondant and design asper request.

This cake was done fairly recently..a mixture of vanilla cake and fruit cake. Cake sizes were 8",6", 4" and 3". The cake weighed just over 3kg.

Alhamdulillah.. the 8th Day of Syawal and still lots of Open Houses to attend and families to visit. We did quite a number of this themed cupcake set, we hope everyone love them

We did this sunset theme before for a birthday, but this one was for a different occasion. For this version, we made a slight change on the design to make it more lively.
It's really interesting to do this sort of theme, really testing on our creativity...

Before we even made any offers for these, already a number of our customers have placed their orders, hehe.. these are simple butterfly and teddy shaped cookies with "Selamat Hari Raya" written on them. For this order, it was required to do a colourful theme hence we went colourful at full speed .. :D

Rolls are my personal favourite during Hari Raya, not that I don't like kek lapis but most of the time when I see a kek lapis I feel too sayang to eat, as they are tooo nice and I really appreciate the effort and time required to do them. Salute to the other bakers for their skills and patience. Even for all the fancy patterned rolls, WOW!! I love those but again I'd just stare at them bcos they're simply stunning.. **sigh**
Enough said.. for this EID, we're came up with some new ideas on simple rolls, simple in looks la.. hehehe.. although in view of time we agreed to do only 4 types, Insya Allah next year we will introduce more.. Here are a couple..
Neapolitan Rolls:
I got inspired by the Neapolitan ice cream.. sllllllrrrrrrrp.... and discussed with my #2 and #3 on what flavours best to put.. so we came up with vanilla, strawberry and banana. Simple but full of flavours.
OREO Break Rolls:
Perhaps by now some of you may have realised we do varities with OREO.. yup... we are an oreo family hehe.. so OREO rolls mesti ada... So, why OREO Break? well it has to different from taking a break withKit Kat right ;)?! Any way if you guys love our OREO cuppies, you will definitely love these.

Whilst evolution of new biscuits and cakes boomed, MOR has certainly remain to be an unsurpassed tradition when it comes to Eid. It is for that same reason that we chose not to bake a modified version of this biscuit as we thought the original taste on tray should be maintained.

During this holy month we have received lots of orders for birthdays and other occasions. Unfortunately due to our busy schedule we were unable to slot in quite a number of requests, for that we must appologise.
These two sets of cupcakes were amongst those we did this Ramadhan each for separate events.
With just over a week before Eid, we would like to wish every one of our muslim readers a Ramadhan Kareem and Eid Mubarak.
It won't be long before it's Eid... everyone's busy with their own preparation, and so are we.. busy entertaining all the Eid Orders as best as we can.
So, as many of our customers have been asking for, we are giving some sneak peek of our Eid goodies as and when they are available, we don't promise to post all but Insya Allah we'll post most of them.

These were cookie favours for the guest during Joshua's Birthday Bash.
Mummy had ordered for various kiddo designs including cute teddies and dinos which were iced to suit the barney theme.
These ones were a separate order to do animal faces on each cookies.

Did this Darth Vader cake for a celebrant who is into this sci-fi thingy. Mum had provided us with a vader mask for us to follow and the hardest bit was the curves.. heheh took awhile to think of ways of making the contours.
It turned out to be rather cool..
